We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join a supportive secondary school environment and engage students through a variety of artistic techniques, media, and creative projects.\n\n * \n\n Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.\n\n * \n\n Mark and assess student progress in line with curriculum expectations.\n\n * \n\n Encourage creativity, self-expression, and the development of practical artistic skills.\n\n * \n\n Support students in exploring a range of artistic styles, techniques, and materials.\n\n * \n\n Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Art and Creative Arts department.\n\n * \n\n Contribute to displays, exhibitions, and wider school enrichment activities.\n\n * \n\n Uphold school values and create a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.\n\nThe Ideal Candidate will have:\n\n * \n\n QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs are welcome to apply.\n\n * \n\n Experience teaching Art at secondary level.\n\n * \n\n At least 6 months' UK teaching experience.\n\n * \n\n Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.\n\n * \n\n A creative, enthusiastic, and approachable teaching style.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and organisational skills.\n\n * \n\n A passion for developing students' artistic abilities and creative confidence.\n\nWhy Work with Humly?\n\n * \n\n Competitive daily rates of pay.\n\n * \n\n Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement.\n\n * \n\n Opportunities across a range of local schools.\n\n * \n\n Access to long-term and permanent teaching opportunities.\n\n * \n\n Flexible and rewarding career options within education.\n\nPlease note: This role does not offer sponsorship.\n\nSafeguarding Statement:\n\nAt Humly, we are committed to safeguarding children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
