The Brand Designer will look beyond just the visual aesthetic and ensure both brand integrity and brand experience are at the forefront of their work, maintaining brand standards across our Family, Big Weekender and Conference and Events propositions.
You’ll be championing the Butlin’s visual language and creative to ensure we continue to attract and drive consideration from new guests, whilst evolving and refining our existing brand identity and guidelines, ensuring that all Butlin’s creative output is consistent across channel and of the highest quality and importantly ladders back up to our brand proposition.
With a keen eye for detail, you’ll be interpreting new creative briefs from our marketing and product teams for implementation across a variety of offline and online mediums, including campaign, social media, web content, digital screens, on resort and product focussed developments.
As the Brand Designer, you will be collaborating with our in-house creative artworkers on large and small-scale projects, leading by example and setting clear guidelines and expectations of what good looks like to ensure all outputs are fit for platform and audience and that brand vision is delivered.
This is a new role for someone that can work in collaboration with our Marketing, Product and Resort functions, leading the development and creative focus of our visual identity and crafting visually compelling and original creative ideas across a breadth of projects.About You
We’re looking for someone with proven experience as a Brand / Visual designer in an agency or in-house design team with a supporting portfolio of work demonstrating creative excellence, brand development and design discipline.You should have a strong, creative approach and pure passion for design, with an eye for detail, an obsession with design fundamentals, and a desire to learn, grow and push the boundaries of our brand identity.
You’ll need to be an excellent visual communicator – both verbally and written, as well as a mastery of composition, imagery, typography, iconography and colour. Alongside this we would expect you to be fluent with Figma / Sketch / XD and Adobe CC – including After Effects and Premiere Pro. Knowledge of UI, HTML and web design is a massive bonus.
