Our Head Office Compensation and Benefits Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive Compensation Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but hard-working, motivated and down to earth team.This role is responsible for managing key areas of Lidl’s remuneration policies, processes and practices. The Compensation Specialist will play a pivotal role in delivering the annual compensation review, benefit enrolment and renewal, market data gathering and managing short- and long-term incentive plans.You will be critical to the ongoing development of our remuneration framework, policies and practices and play an active role in all things compensation related.“ To keep in line with company structure this role will be called Compensation Consultant internally”We have moved to a fully flexible model of mobile working for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.What you'll doData collection, salary benchmarking and processing of analyses within defined tasks and projects Independent processing of tasks and projects in cooperation with the supervisor or responsible personprocessing of the topic of job evaluation including data maintenance in the external systemSupport for the local rollout of Compensation projects across our 13 Regional distribution centres and Head OfficePreparation and communication of Compensation relevant information such as market information, internal or external environmental analyses via the (online) communication channelsOrganization of Compensation information events for different target groups across the businessAnswering ad hoc questions on Compensation topicsCreation and updating of Compensation information documents and policyWhat you'll needPrevious experience working within Compensation & Benefits is essential for this roleAbility to analyse large sets of data and identify key themes, anomalies and trends, and translate into summaries and proposalsDriven to make an impact – leveraging data to drive proposals and challenge practices, to identify and drive high-impact solutions.Excellent communication skills – able to articulate and advise on complex queries to a variety of audiences, including senior stakeholdersExcellent attention to detail German language skills are ideal but not essential Advanced Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word and ExcelWhat you'll receiveThis isn't getting by.
