Fitout Project Manager

Experienced Fit-out Project Manager required to join on to a well established main contractor to assist with the delivery of a £300m new build arena at Cardiff Bay and to join their new South West regional team. \n\nMain Responsibilities and Duties: \n\nManage the project team and supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost, and quality targets and standards\nEnsure safety targets and standards are maintained\nEnsure sustainability targets are achieved\nManage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to manage expectations\nManage external consultants (e.g. design) to enable delivery - driving value, customer focus and achievement of the project's objectives\nMay manage or input into any post completion issues to maintain a positive customer relationship and repeat business performance levels\nEnsure effective records are maintained and kept for project delivery\nReport periodically to Senior Management on project progress, risks and issues using robust reporting systems to meet the needs of the company\nUnderstand the relevant Contract terms and conditions for each project\nLead and motivate site team and develop staff\nEnsure contractual notices are issued as and when necessaryExperience / Knowledge:\n\nFinancial awareness is required to deliver targets\nExperience of leading teams, and confidence in the ability to lead, influence and communicate.\nOrganisation skills\nOutlook, Word, Excel, Power Projects (Asta)\nBenefits\n\nOctopus Energy Car Scheme\nHoliday carry-over\n26 days of Annual Leave\nAdditional Annual Leave Purchase\nSeason Ticket Loans\nProfessional Membership - will cover the cost of two professional memberships per year.\nMaternity support - 26 weeks full pay\nPaternity support - 4 weeks full pay.\nLong service awards
