If you’re an experienced people manager who has excellent knowledge on transport compliance, then we want to hear from you! We are looking for an experienced Fleet Compliance Manager with a passion for leadership who can support the Transport Manager, leading our driver colleagues along with a team of administrators. In this new role you will be responsible for distribution planning, motor transport and temperature compliance. You’ll be involved in a wide variety of tasks using management information available from the Transport Management System (Verizon), identifying areas to improve both productivity and service. The position is customer facing, both internal and external customers, so you will have the ability to resolve any queries or issues, ensuring our reliable reputation is maintained. To join us in this role, you need to be keen and willing to take accountability of our fleet and workforce. You’ll need to have knowledge from CPC management and a strong understanding of transport compliance – re-enforcing the importance of getting the job done in a safe and timely manner. This is a varied role where you will be not only be ensuring all costs are in line with the budgetary requirements but also acting as the lead person in creating the correct environment for our colleagues. Leading by example you’ll set and maintaining standards in service, health, safety, and compliance.
