Position: Internal Sales Representative Job Description: INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE CHANNEL: SALES REPORTING TO: INTERNAL SALES MANAGER Work in line with Arrow's Vision and Value Fulfil the competency criteria and goals for identified Clear category Responsible for internal daily operational work with the customer: Day to day, first and prime contact to the customer Quote preparation, orders, forecasts and opportunities All tasks to be carried out in a Total Quality Manner, consistent with Company Culture Develop the business and process within assigned accounts to: Maximize Arrow share Maximize overall profitability Maximize productivity Build and develop close professional business relations (both external and internal) Responsibility for providing highest achievable service levels to all customers within the branch Key Tasks/Responsibilities: Commercial Meet targets Optimise product mix, recognise and identify new business and project opportunities, including Design Wins, jointly with Field Sales Communicate proactively and use all available resources to maximize return and ensure smooth operations with regard to speed, accuracy and cost effectiveness Internal ownership for customer satisfaction, on time delivery and quality standards Utilize all available tools to work as efficiently as possible Proactively search for relevant knowledge and information Participate in relevant business related training and stay updated of business and industry evolution Participate in customer meetings and formalised business reviews Maintain the integrity of Customer Master Data jointly, with Finance and Field Sales Work to establish Arrow as the customers preferred supplier Profitability Understand the impact of market conditions on margin and react accordingly Use all current tools and procedures to maintain and maximise margin Customer Service/Operational Seamless order transition, ensuring initial and continuing accuracy of data Manage upload/import of customer forecast file and complete detailed validation of forecast exceptions, communicating both forecast accuracy and service issues Jointly with Field Sales stay accountable for all customer profiled inventory (Forecast, Buffer, Consigned, Firm Schedule, Speculative Sales Orders) ensuring service levels and Arrow stock turn targets are met Work with other Arrow departments to exceed customer delivery expectations Maintain regular communication with the customer with regard to inventory levels, forecast accuracy and delivery issues Jointly with Field Sales implement price changes as appropriate and maintain accurate price files Supply Chain Have a general understanding of Arrow's supply chain solutions Jointly with Field Sales, identify, recommend and support implementation of supply chain solutions that will support both customer and Arrow objectives Experience/ Skills /Knowledge: Sales Customer Service Accountability Communication and coordination skills Team skills Advanced system skills (Office systems and sales systems) English Language skills - fluently in writing and spoken Industry knowledge Analytical skills Planning skills Who we are: As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components.
