LAB Risk and Compliance Manager

WHAT YOU'LL DOThis position acts as an ambassador for BCG on compliance standards and risk management within the London, Amsterdam & Brussels (L-A-B) system. Demonstrating the highest standards of compliance behaviour and raising awareness of regulatory requirements and compliance policies. Provide an advisory role for regulatory aspects across the whole business, ensuring best practice and adherence to BCG policies and procedures. The role will support the L-A-B office system by building and driving best practice in minimum standards and risk management.It will be important to collaborate well across functions, both within the L-A-B system and globally, to deliver comprehensive and business-oriented solutions. The role requires the ability to successfully manage multiple projects in varying Compliance disciplines, while being flexible and open towards new ideas and change.You will: Driving a diligent risk management approach to financial and operational risk areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:Work closely with the Global and Regional Compliance teams on Compliance topics such as implementing controls and risk management processes, set policies and standards.Consisting of topics but not limited to: Code of Conduct, Code of Client Service, Antibribery and Corruption, Fraud, Insider Trading, KYC and KYS, Data privacy, Data Management, Information Security, etc.Compile management reports, summary analyses, and detailed presentations to describe compliance risks, controls, and maturity assessments to Head of Finance, Regional head of Compliance and other leadership.Continual risk assessment, analyzing risks as well as identifying, documenting and estimating the risks affecting the business.Seeking opportunities to improve and embed risk management into the L-A-B operational processes, ensuring adequate systems of internal controls (segregation of duties, controls & checks and ensuring appropriate policies are in place and monitored and are adhered to).Managing and coordinating the L-A-B internal Risk Audits and updating the risk review platform.Ensuring that L-A-B BCG Risk team/internal audit recommendations are being actioned by function heads in a timely manner.Line management, supervision and coaching of the L-A-B Compliance coordinator who operates local compliance processes and support you with the Compliance agendaOversight of BCG's internal Information management policy and processing with regards to safeguarding BCG's and Clients data and proceduresManage local employee compliance with BCG's Insider trading policyContact for local GDPR queries working closely with the Global Data Privacy OfficeRisk reporting to a variety of stakeholders to convey the level of risk undertaken and their accountability for individual risksCorporate governance involving external risk reporting to multi-channel stakeholdersProviding support and training to staff to build risk awareness within L-A-B ( risk and compliance onboarding training of new joiners.Supporting Regional Head of Compliance in the roll out of the mandatory compliance trainings across L-A-BContact person in L-A-B for various compliance topics.Performing other projects and duties as assigned by the L-A-B Head of Finance or Regional Head of ComplianceYOU'RE GOOD ATUnderstanding of the consulting business, and the nature of work BCG doesA ‘can do’ attitude, creative problem-solving skills and tenacity to find solutionsBeing able to manage multi tasks with ability to run project management as a key skillConfidence engaging with cross functional stakeholders at all levels to drive decision makingAbility to develop and improve working methods independentlyPro-active, self-motivated, works independently and takes initiative.Well organized, with strong ability to plan ahead.YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Minimum 5 years relevant experience in compliance/ or other risk management discipline such as audit, fraud examination, quality control, risk analysisStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience of working within a Professional services firm desirableHigh commitment to confidentiality required.Comfortable with, and preferably advanced knowledge of, Microsoft Office (Power point, Excel, Word), Trello, exposure to business intelligence tools: Tableau, Power BIExcellent English skills (verbal and written communication)YOU'LL WORK WITHThis individual based and responsible for L-A-B, will be part of the worldwide Compliance network and work closely together with Regional, Global experts and will report to the L-A-B Head of Finance. You will be participating in local as well as global/regional initiatives and incorporating our global goals into the local office goals and objectives, where appropriate. You will be supported by and have line management responsibility of the L-A-B Compliance coordinator.
