Their range of best-in-class technologies have been deployed at over 100 sites globally, and the business has achieved exceptional growth year-on-year- making this an exciting time to join a company with real momentum behind it.\n\nThe Role\n\nWe're looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment systems on site. You'll be the key point of contact between the site team, supply chain, and the wider project management function - ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the high standards our client's customers expect.\n\nThis role offers a genuine hybrid working arrangement: 3 days on site, 2 days working from home.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManaging day-to-day mechanical installation activities on water/wastewater treatment projects\nCoordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to maintain programme and quality\nEnsuring full compliance with CDM regulations, site-specific health & safety requirements, and environmental obligations\nLiaising with the client, design team, and commissioning engineers throughout the construction phase\nProducing and maintaining RAMS, site diaries, progress reports, and O&M documentation\nSupporting the commissioning phase, working alongside process and commissioning engineers to bring plant into operation\nIdentifying and managing technical queries, RFIs, and variation events\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nProven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on water sector or process/industrial projects\nStrong understanding of mechanical pipework, pumping systems, and associated plant — ideally within a treatment works environment\nSMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold Card), and first aid certification\nComfortable working with NEC or similar forms of contract\nStrong communication skills - able to manage multiple stakeholders and represent the business professionally on site\nSelf-motivated and organised, capable of managing remote workdays effectively\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)\nHybrid working - 3 days site, 2 days from home\nThe chance to work on technically interesting, high-impact water infrastructure projects\nA growing business with a strong pipeline and a genuine reputation for innovation in the sector
