PRIVATE PA – UHNW INTERNATIONAL FAMILY

Marcilly Recruitment is seeking a high calibre, London based, Private PA for an UHNW international family. The role will be based from their London residence in Belgravia five days a week and will also manage their wider global lifestyle and property portfolio in the UK.

\n\n

 

\n\n

This is a highly involved, fast-paced position requiring a polished, discreet and emotionally intelligent Private PA who can operate as a true right-hand to the principals. The role sits at the centre of a complex private household, working closely with a long-standing team and liaising with advisors, suppliers and international contacts. They have a very good support infrastructure within their company and family office (including travel teams, full-time household maintenance professionals etc).

\n\n

The successful candidate will take ownership of the principals’ private affairs, ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes — from property oversight and global travel to financial administration and high-value asset management.

\n\n

 

\n\n

They are senior principals so more settled in life, they do not live an overly demanding lifestyle, so it is not a 24/7 role and very manageable for a fast-paced, high-calibre Private PA.

\n\n

 

\n\n

Salary: £60K-£65K per annum

\n\n

Benefits: generous discretionary annual bonus; 22 days holiday; Global Healthcare insurance; pension

Location: Household based in Mayfair

\n\n

Hours: 09:00 – 17:30

\n\n

Start date: ideally within the next two months

Private PA Role  

\n\n

This is a broad Private PA role, combining traditional support with operational, financial and project-based responsibilities.

\n\n

 

\n\n

You will be relied upon to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and bring structure and organisation to a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

\n\n

 

\n\n

Private PA Responsibilities include:

\n\n

\n\t
• Acting as a true gatekeeper, managing diaries, priorities and personal schedules with precision
\n\t
• Coordinating complex international travel, working alongside travel specialists to deliver detailed, highly tailored itineraries
\n\t
• Overseeing multiple properties, including maintenance, refurbishments, contractor management and long-term planning
\n\t
• Managing household procurement and sourcing, from day-to-day requirements to high-value and specialist items
\n\t
• Handling financial administration, including expenses, invoices, payments, insurance claims and reporting to accountants
\n\t
• Overseeing multi-property budgets and financial tracking, ensuring accuracy and discretion at all times
\n\t
• Maintaining detailed records of art, collectibles and valuable assets, including logistics, shipping and insurance
\n\t
• Liaising with galleries, auction houses and specialists for the acquisition and management of fine art
\n\t
• Managing insurance policies across properties and assets (including art, jewellery and vehicles)
\n\t
• Coordinating medical appointments and healthcare administration, maintaining confidential records
\n\t
• Supporting with events, entertaining and gifting, ensuring a seamless and thoughtful execution
\n\t
• Assisting with household recruitment and team coordination
\n\t
• Reviewing and proofreading contracts and legal documentation
\n\t
• Maintaining highly organised and confidential digital and physical filing systems
\n\t
• Acting as a key liaison between the principals, household staff and external advisors

The Private PA Candidate  

\n\n

Marcilly Recruitment is looking for a highly capable and composed Private PA who is confident managing a demanding and multifaceted role.

\n\n

Private PA Requirements:

\n\n

\n\t
• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Private PA within UHNW households
\n\t
• Proven experience supporting complex lifestyles with multiple residences and international travel
\n\t
• Strong financial competence, including budget tracking, expenses and reporting
\n\t
• Experience handling high-value assets such as art, jewellery or collectibles
\n\t
• Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
\n\t
• Strong written communication skills and confidence managing high-level correspondence
\n\t
• A calm, discreet and solutions-oriented approach
\n\t
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to integrate into an established, longstanding household team
\n\t
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and think several steps ahead
\n\t
• A polished, articulate individual who can step in for the principal when needed
\n
