Receptionist (Admin & Damp & Mould Support)\n\n6‑month FTC | £32,907 – £34,359 Pro Rata | Full‑time | Office‑based | Tower Bridge, London\n\nA leading housing organisation near Tower Bridge is seeking a highly organised Receptionist (Admin & Damp & Mould Support) to join their busy Property Services team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.\n\nAlthough titled “Receptionist”, this role is primarily administrative, with a strong focus on damp & mould case tracking, repairs coordination and scheduling. You’ll support the team behind the scenes to ensure cases progress smoothly, records are accurate, and operatives and surveyors have the information they need.\n\nThis is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy and keeping systems in order.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Receptionist (Admin & D&M), you will:\n\n * \n\n Maintain and update the damp & mould tracker, ensuring all cases are logged, monitored and progressed\n\n * \n\n Track actions, follow‑on works, surveyor visits and contractor updates\n\n * \n\n Schedule repairs, inspections and follow‑up appointments for operatives and external contractors\n\n * \n\n Apply schedule of rates and priority times to jobs\n\n * \n\n Keep accurate records, communication logs and compliance documentation\n\n * \n\n Support the team with data entry, reporting and KPI preparation\n\n * \n\n Liaise with surveyors, contractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of works\n\n * \n\n Assist with invoice processing and general administrative duties\n\n * \n\n Monitor progress of repairs and escalate delays or risks\n\n * \n\n Ensure CRM and internal systems are kept fully up to date\n\n * \n\n Provide light front‑of‑house cover when required (minimal)\n\nThis is a varied, fast‑paced role where strong organisation and attention to detail are essential.\n\nAbout You\n\nWe’re looking for someone who brings:\n\n * \n\n Strong administrative experience, ideally within housing, property services or repairs\n\n * \n\n Confidence managing trackers, spreadsheets and case‑based workflows\n\n * \n\n Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach\n\n * \n\n Ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of tasks\n\n * \n\n Experience scheduling operatives or coordinating diaries (desirable)\n\n * \n\n Understanding of damp & mould processes, repairs or compliance (desirable)\n\n * \n\n Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems\n\n * \n\n A proactive, team‑focused and resilient attitude\n\nExperience supporting repairs teams, surveyors or compliance functions would be a real advantage.\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Salary: £32,907 – £34,359 p.a.\n\n * \n\n 6‑month fixed‑term contract\n\n * \n\n Full‑time, office‑based near Tower Bridge\n\n * \n\n 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro‑rata)\n\n * \n\n Local Government Pension Scheme\n\n * \n\n Supportive, inclusive working culture\n\n * \n\n The chance to contribute to essential work improving residents’ homes\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Greenacre Recruitment Ltd who are operating as a recruitment agency and business
