Sales Representative Scottish Region (d/f/m)

The following adventures await you at Schleich: Develop and maintain successful relationships across allocated retail accounts Develop and maintain call cycle that includes regular meetings with retailers to include, sell in’s merchandising and product training Prepare annual customer plans (aligned to the company business plan), to support deliverance of all budgetary requirements, KPIs and objectives Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and their specialty area of business Maintain close working relationship with the Sales Manager to ensure all objectives are achieved, particularly in the areas of pricing, promotions, customer terms and marketing Work closely with customer support, logistics, development and marketing to ensure the best solutions are delivered Regular reviews with finance to appraise credit limits and PO/Invoicing relationship Ensure day-to-day issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner Identify and maximise new opportunities Attend conferences, exhibitions and events where required Be aware of all new developments in the marketplace (including competitor activity) and provide regular/relevant feedback to all internal stakeholders Always implement best practice, ensuring first class customer service The chapters of your story so far: Pro-active and enthusiastic self-starter, with demonstrable record of success in either a similar field-based role or from a retail background Excellent communication skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers alike – both in written and verbal formats Planning: Must have the ability to manage their time efficiently Initiative: Willing to act on own initiative and take decisions, but conscious of their role within the team framework Negotiation: Ability to reach a solution to the benefit of both the company and customer Attention to detail: Ensures accurate deliverance of all activities, with the ability to work to deadlines Organized: Structured in all aspects to ensure all goals/objectives are achieved IT Systems: Ability to use teams, word, excel and power point applications effectively, alongside Schleich’s internal systems Analytical: Able to understand and interpret sales data, with the ability to present findings to both internal and external audiences Flexible approach: This position can and will demand additional hours when required This role requires UK travel, so job holder will possess a full UK driving license and be prepared to stay away from home when required No kingdoms nor mountains of gold, but many other rewards: No two days are the same in this career like no other.
