What you’ll achieve: The EMEA Sustainability and ESG Lead role will be responsible for overseeing Dell’s Sustainability and ESG strategy for EMEA, in partnership with Dell’s regional teams, including but not limited to Sales, regional product teams, Corporate Accounting and Statutory, Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Communications. The position involves representing our global Sustainability & ESG strategy and priorities within the region; collaborating to establish and execute a region-specific Sustainability & ESG strategy and plan, working closely with internal business leaders as an extension of our global ESG operations and governance, which is a hub and spoke model; managing associated ESG regulatory requirements; and engaging with external stakeholders including customers, partners, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) where needed. The role will also involve developing the necessary internal and external relationships in the region and representing the ESG team at external events and engagements. This position is located in EMEA region and reports directly to Dell’s Director of Customer & Regional Sustainability & ESG. You will: Establish and lead coordination, execution and accountability of region-specific Sustainability & ESG strategy, plan and priorities, in direct alignment with global strategy and plan Support and lead proactive management of customer and partner engagements, inquiries, and collaborations on Sustainability & ESG topics and priorities Oversee regional and country specific ESG reporting with an emphasis on understanding and aligning to regulatory requirements Identify and communicate regional and global ESG issues and the implications for Dell’s businesses and reputation to senior management Research and analyze regional and country specific ESG issues, and identify areas of potential reputational or business risk as well as opportunities Work within the CS & ESG team and our hub and spoke operating model to bring regional and country-level representation into the design and implementation of regional ESG initiatives that benefit Dell’s ESG goals, leadership positioning and impact Participate in external meetings with customers and other stakeholders to represent Dell’s Sustainability & ESG strategy, approach, and to share best practices Support Sales leaders in their efforts to build and maintain external relationships within a country by providing ESG-related strategic advice, talking points and background information, leveraging work done globally Be a value-added resource to senior management and business leaders to provide insight and guidance on ESG risks in the region and how to manage those risks Participate as an active member of the CS & ESG team to maintain close coordination and alignment on global ESG issues and priorities Job ID: R232425 Dell’s Flexible & Hybrid Work Culture At Dell Technologies, we believe our best work is done when flexibility is offered.
