What you'll doConstruction of new warehouses, extensions, reconfigurations and modernisation of our existing portfolioManaging project plans and deadlinesMonitoring project progress and checking quality standards are met at all timesManaging relationships with external companies, contractors and suppliersEnsuring compliance with our corporate specification and internal proceduresEnsuring the highest standards of Health & Safety performance on all construction sitesRemedying any issues quickly and effectively with an aim to keeping projects moving and ensuring deadlines are not jeopardisedReporting on the progress of construction projects to the Senior teamBudget management and controlling project costsWhat you'll needEducated to degree level or equivalent in either Engineering or ConstructionProven experience in a Construction/Engineering related rolePC literate with strong Microsoft Office skillsA professional and refined negotiator with sound commercial acumen and judgmentHighly organised with a pragmatic and analytical approachA strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlinesAn excellent communicator who can communicate confidently with people at all levels of the businessA team player who is capable of performing tasks independently using their own initiativeGerman Language is desirable but not essentialRICS, CIOB or MAPM accreditation is desirable but not essentialWhat you’ll receiveThis isn't getting by.
